She is a founding partner of the Rücker Curi Advocacia e Consultoria Jurídica Law Office, with about 45 lawyers and national activity in Business Law. She is the legal technical supervisor and manager of the Law Office. She is the founder of SMART LAW, an incubator for innovative projects of legal solutions for companies. She works in Digital Law, especially in processes related to the General Law on Data Protection and Blockchain.
Graduated in 1997, she is a specialist in business contracts from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), a specialist in Civil Procedural Law, Corporate Law, and Commercial Law. She has a master’s degree in Law from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (PUC-SP) with a dissertation on “The Regulatory Intervention Agencies in the Civil Process as Amicus Curiae.” She has been active for 20 years in the areas of Corporate, Banking, Insurance, and Commercial Law.
Professor, lecturer and ad-hoc mediator. In 2019, she coordinated the permanent discussion group “Startups and Economic Freedom” and is a judge at the Ethics and Discipline Court of the Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil, Paraná Section. It is also part of MEX Brazil, for entrepreneurial and executive women. She is a member of the Instituto de Advogados do Paraná (IAPPR), in which she was a tax advisor between 2017 and 2018, in addition to being a member of the Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Processual (IBDP).
She is a consultant for the Global Chamber in the south of Brazil. She is a member of the Innovation and Management Committee of the OAB/PR, member and counselor of Administration in training by the Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa (IBGC). She is also a member of the International Insurance Law Association (AIDA) and the Centro de Estudos das Sociedades de Advogados (CESA). Dr. Izabela together with the Rücker Curi Law Office are signatories of the Global Compact.
Recently, she took an advanced course in 3D Negotiation at Harvard Law School in the United States. In 2016, she was a finalist for the Jabuti Award for the Best Book on Economics, Administration, Business and Law, for the work: Judicial Reform, Brazilian Chamber of the Book. In 2019, she was included in the Análise Advocacia 500 Magazine as the most admired lawyer.
